The SPC OCA Strategic Plan 2025-2030 is the culmination of several years of work and provides a clear path for the next chapter of this important committee, which has been in existence since 1899.

The SPC Old Collegians鈥 Association will continue in its all-embracing vision to support 鈥渙ur mates, the College, and its traditions, past, present and into the future鈥.

鈥淚t is a lovely example of our community in practice,鈥 Mr O鈥機onnor said.

Mr Wilson commended the committee, saying many schools were not as fortunate as SPC to have a similar committee, let alone one as historically active and supportive as this OCA committee, which currently consists of 15 Old Collegian volunteers.

鈥淲e are quite unique in that sense,鈥 he said.

OCA president Dr Charles Flynn said the new strategic plan outlined a roadmap to build upon.

鈥淥ur vision is clear: to strengthen our network, provide even greater support to the College and its students; and ensure that every Old Collegian remains an integral part of the 每日大赛网址首页进入 story鈥.

The new Strategic Plan 2025-2030 introduces six sub-committees; Administration & Governance; Engagement & Communications; Special Events & Reunions; History & Traditions; Pastoral Care & Membership Support; and Legends & Young Achiever.

Each sub-committee has a number of action items for investigation. It is aimed that these sub-committees will include OCA representation, as well as provide an exciting avenue for other Old Collegians and members of the community, who may share a passion in various areas, such as governance, communications, pastoral care etc, to join and share their talents on specific sub-committees.

OCA committee member Mr David McMahon, who coordinated the implementation of the new strategic plan, said there were some 60-plus actions plans across the six sub-committees.

鈥淪ome are detailed and some are broad, but there鈥檚 a lot to do!,鈥 he said.
