每日大赛网址首页进入 has inducted three outstanding Old Collegians as Legends of the College in its 130th year for their exemplary work in the fields of education, medicine and music.
Professor Terry Lloyd (SPC 1959-63), the late Sir Hugh Berchmans Devine (SPC 1893-94) and the late Sir Bernard Heinze (SPC 1905-12) were honoured with the prestigious awards for their services to education, medicine and music, respectively.
Rising classical ballet star Joshua Ballinger (SPC 2016-18, PY2021) and Melbourne FC premiership player Tom McDonald (SPC 2010) were also recognised with Young Achiever of the Year awards, while long-serving teacher Narelle Dixon received the esteemed staff Facere et Docere (To Do and To Teach) award.
The awards were presented at the 2023 Annual Celebration Dinner, held at the OCA Pavilion on Saturday 18 November.
More than 100 people attended the gala event.
Old Collegians鈥� Assocation president Dr Charlie Flynn said the OCA was delighted to bestow 鈥楲egend鈥� status on three more alumni, and recognise two Young Achievers and a long-serving teacher.
鈥淭he 2023 celebration is a significant year for the College and the Old Collegians Association congratulates all of this year鈥檚 inductees, who will be very worthy additions to the Honour Board,鈥� he said.

As part of the celebration, SPC unveiled a special 130th anniversary video compiled from 18 interviews with members of the College community, including Old Collegians, current staff and students, Board members, and parents.
College Archivist Halina Sztynda completed the interviews with Kevin Cummins from Modular Media.

“It has been an honour and a privilege to record our history that can be shared through your stories.”
